Recommended activity at home

Brandon did well at his first tournament, losing only to two 2nd graders. He needs to slow down a bit and think more about each move, ensuring the piece cannot be taken easily.

1. Read and review the hand-out Planning your next move .
2. Play lots of talking games at home, proving feedback on the moves. For tips, see Playing at Home.
